Ripples and Repercussions
PI Curt D’Accio’s life has become busy. His business is booming, having just added two hot investigations: a political candidate that’s being smeared, and a young man that was sent to prison for a murder his sister swears he didn’t do. On the personal side, he has taken on the overseeing of Chandler Import, a family company, after his brother-in-law was badly injured. And he’s providing moral support to two friends that are having personal issues.
Then a sniper takes aim.
Seriously wounded, Curt survives the attempted assassination. And the next one, which draws him into a major DEA investigation and its hunt for a ruthless cartel’s drug pipeline. A hunt with unexpected ties to Chandler Import. Then there’s the sociopathic shifter family, one of whom he’s positive committed the murder Aaron Rivas was framed for. Both investigations are dangerous, but Curt doesn’t plan to stop. Others plan to see that he does. Permanently.
